Sun Pal Solar Sign Light - Technical Data  This is the bottom of Sun Pal showing 14 LEDs (and slot where sign slides through and adjustable Allen screws are secured) Dimensions: 11.75" length x 5.5" width x 1" height Number of LEDs: 14 Post gap slot size: 1/8" to 1 Includes two adjustable Allen screws for tightening/security Hours of illumination: app. 10 Comes with Allen wrench Sun Pal: Simple Directions: Step #1: After you take the Sun Pal out of the box, turn over to the light side and flip switch to 4 hours. Then take it to a dark place (or turn lights down) and see if the lights go on. This is checking whether the internal batteries are charged. If the lights don't go on, go to step #2. If lights do go on, then go to next step #3. (We try to charge the Sun Pal before sending.) Step #2: If lights don't go on, switch to off and place in direct sun for at least 3 - 4 hours (solar panel side up). Be sure the switch on reverse is set to "off" before charging. If lights still don't go on despite being well-charged, check battery inside. Step #3: Now that the internal batteries are charged, place Sun Pal on top of your sign (or wood fence, etc). The screws (also attached) will secure your sign. Note: if there is stilll a gap between your wood and the light, insert a thin piece of wood or rubber (like a shim) to make secure. Be sure solar panel side of Sun Pal faces direct to sun (without shadows or overhanging building).
